Fifth gift of Christmas: Toys

By 12:30 PM

The fifth gift of Christmas is great for the children!  With all the advertising on television now-a-days, kids expects some toys.  If you are like me, handmade gifts mean a lot more.  So try and make a few of these for the young ones in your family.

10 Toy Patterns:

Fox Ornament by RedHeart Yarn

With all the popularity of foxes (you can thank a silly little song for that), this toy is sure to be a hit.
Use it as an ornament or just give it as a toy gift.

Despicable Minion by Wolf Dreamer

These little boogers are popping up everywhere!  The kids are sure going to fall for
this darling little minion.  Minion Army, anyone?!

While this pattern requires more than just yarn, it's sure to warm the hearts of every person, young or old.
I would love to have one of these for myself!

Tea and Cookie Party Set by RedHeart Yarn

This is adorable for the little princesses in our lives.
I know my niece would adore this gift.

Scrat the Squirrel by Great Grey Crochet

Almost everyone knows this little squirrel from the Ice Age movies.
Isn't he just adorable?!

Gecko Frecko by Raphaela Nickel

This little gecko is quite the character.  The design is completely customizable,
as you will see on the pattern.

Pinky the Pig by Unknown

This pig makes my heart smile and is perfect for a little girl.
The flowers pop and the pig is cute.

Rainbow Nesting Bowls and Balls by Seriously Daisies

These are the perfect gift for babies and toddlers.
Soft, colorful, and a great learning tool.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles by underthemountain on Craftster

These are the most awesome toys for little boys or even TMNT fans!
Aren't they adorable?!

My Little Ponies by Knit One Awe Some

These little creatures are absolutely magical!
There are tons of characters to make and you will see a variety of them on the link.
